B Sc (Hons) 

(Specialisation: Biology (Botany/Zoology) / Physics/ Chemistry)

B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Botany was introduced in the university from session 2012-13. Presently in this programme choice based credit system is followed as per the recommendation of UGC. First two years are mostly common and in the third year the students pursue in selected subjects. B.Sc (Hons) programme aims to instill students with a sound knowledge in Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Botany. It also demonstrates the students with comprehensive practical training in different areas by fostering a creative spirit. Students during this programme are taken to field visits, industrial experiences etc. The major objective of the course is to engage the students with current research and development through projects given to them from 2nd year onward.  


10+2 (PCB/PCM) with minimum 70% marks in aggregate. 

Basis of Admission

 By merit of qualifying examination.
