Shoolini University conducts career guidance workshops at Delhi schools
With the aim of helping young students understand the changing career opportunities and new professional environments, Shoolini University is conducting student interactions at various schools in Delhi. So far, Prof. of Faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology, Dr. Saurabh Kulshreshtha along with Ms Avnee Khosla have been interacting with the students across different schools of NCR.
Ms. Khosla visited Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura and DLDAV Model School where she interacted with the students in class 12 to talk about the changing trends in career opportunities and the research opportunities available to the students of commerce as well as science streams. She advised all the students not to make hasty, unplanned decisions due to peer or parental pressures. It's important to pursue a field you are truly passionate about. She asked the students to do their research in order to save problems later in life. She guided the students on some of the ways in which students can acquire new skills for better career prospects. She also cleared the continuing dilemma of college over subject or subject over college, and much more.
Explaining them about the eligibility criteria, Ms. Khosla motivated students to look at different academic fields before they finalise what they want to do. She also cleared questions related to placements.
Mr. Saurabh visited CRPF Public School, Rohini where he had an interactive discussion on research in Biotechnology & Life Sciences as the Future. He spoke to the students about the different career opportunities available and also emphasized on the future of biosciences as one of the important future-oriented areas for research, economy and society.
