Pursuing its goal of fruitful international associations with institutes of repute in foreign countries, Shoolini University announced its latest collaboration with University of KwaZulu-Natal located in South Africa. American Research Professor Dr. Steven L. Stephenson has confirmed to visit Shoolini University under Full Bright Scheme in March-April 2017 for 17 days. Dr. Stephenson is a Research Professor in Department of Biological Sciences, University of Arkansas, U.S.A.. He would deliver Lecture Series to Faculty of Biotechnology Students. Apart from his Lecture Series, he would conduct related workshops. Along with him, his wife is also coming to Shoolini University. She is an instructor in Mathematics Department at University of Arkansas and she would be interacting with students and Professors of Mathematics Department at Shoolini University.View More
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has notified following two changes in the JEE pattern for 2017:
There shall be no weightage for the 12th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination.
For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
The online application process has started from 01st December, 2016 onwards. The last date for application is 02nd January, 2017 and fee can be paid up to 03rd January 2017 (www.jeemain.nic.in).View More
Shoolini University has been running an innovative Language Lab at its Yogananda Knowledge Centre since November 25, 2016.
The language lab is well equipped with different audio - visual facilities to foster language earning in a fun, creative environment. The highlights of the lab include an exciting language software called ‘Duolingo,’ which is a language learning application that can be downloaded on mobile phones too and six desktops and three tablets. This makes the software accessible at any place at any given time, making language learning a constant process. The software provides user access to about 30 languages, which include online classroom discussions, tests, worksheets and assignments. Students can communicate with millions of other users across the world using this application.View More
