Guest House Inaugurated at the Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences

The most awaited Shoolini Guest House was finally inaugurated and opened for the visitors of the university.

Cleanliness Drive 2016 by SUBMS

The Sawch Bharat Diwas was organized for the 3rd year in succession at the Shoolini University. Shoolini students in collaboration with Young Links, a Solan-based NGO planned to make an effort towards making Solan a poster free city. Three teams were made wherein students were equally divided and allocated different city areas that needed the most cleaning. The sincerity of the students and the faculty members towards this noble cause was clearly visible and the local residents appreciated the effort.

Project Prayas Reaches Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences

The students of SBM were recently involved in the 'Project Prayas', a project which revolves around adding excitement in the lives of students studying in the Govt. Primary School at Bajhol.  Various interactive activities were organized for these students. Since the commencement of the Project, the students of SBM have trained the school children in various arts such as dancing, recitation, singing etc. Educational classes on hygiene were also held to create awareness among the school children.

Hostel Night at Shoolini Campus

The Girls Hostel Night which was an all girl affair was a runaway hit by all standards. Seamlessly planned and executed by the hostel students themselves, the evening had everyone enthralled and entertained. The evening began with welcoming the students and the hostel staff members. The major highlight was the fashion and beauty pageant wherein beautiful girls ran the ramp. Apart from this, there were some classy dance and singing performances on top charts of 2016. The party ended at the award ceremony in which the winners of various events were awarded the titles of Miss Hostel, Miss Stylish and Ms Talented.

HP’s First Commercial Food Testing Facility to Start Operations at Shoolini University

Shoolini University has been sanctioned a project worth Rs. 285.39 lakh by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) through the Ministry of Food Processing Industry, for setting up a Food Testing Laboratory. The government share would be Rs. 163.20 lakh while the promoters will contribute partly for the remaining construction and recurring expenses for five years.
