Another feather in the cap of Shoolini VC -gets ‘Shiksha Ratan Award’ |

After receiving the prestigious ‘Best entrepreneur education award’ last month Dr PK Khosla, Vice Chancellor, Shoolini University received ‘Shiksha Ratan Award’ today.
Sh Shivraj Singh Patil, Governor, Punjab and administrator, UT, Chandigarh presented the award to Dr PK Khosla at first Annual Corporate Summit, 2012 organised by All India Technical and Management Association (AITMA) at Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Chandigarh.
AITMA is a Non Government Organization working in the field of youth welfare and Career building of youth. AITMA aim is to bring all service (Education, Industries and Profession) under one roof to bridge the gap between university curriculum, latest industry technology requirement and student know how. AITMA specializes on creating employment specific courses by collaborating with different educational and industrial organization in India and abroad.
Dr Khosla received this award in recognition of his immense contribution to the cause of quality education by establishing a private university at Solan and contributing in the field of higher education. While receiving this award Prof Khosla said that this award has given him boost to make more and more efforts and has put more responsibility on his shoulders. “I want to make Shoolini University into a top 200 global university in the next ten years, especially when none of the Indian Universities figure in the league”.
