Dear Students and Parents,
Path breaking discoveries and inventions in physics and engineering in the twentieth century changed the way we live. The twenty first century will have similar changes - though this time these will be driven by innovation in biology and management sciences. It is no surprise that a career in these disciplines is now emerging as a preferred option - at par with, or even more preferred than medicine or engineering.
However, considering the rapid pace of innovation in these areas, a high degree of specialized knowledge is important to build a winning career .To make an impact in these fields, the latest learning and specialized domain expertise is the single most critical factor of success.

Our vision behind Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences is to provide students with an opportunity to learn from and interact with top-most experts in their field of expertise. We also endeavor to develop Shoolini University into an internationally recognized center of research and education. The university's model is to blend expertise in bio sciences with the principles and practices of business management and create exceptionally skilled human resource for future leadership positions in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food technology as well as specialized BPO and research companies. I say with pride that some of India's and the world's most renowned academicians, scientists and business managers are already collaborating with us to make this vision a reality.
To achieve these goals, we are proactively building faculty, infrastructure and developing an atmosphere where our students acquire cutting edge skills and domain knowledge. We also seek to give our students the appropriate environment to build on their creative and social aspirations.
I am confident that with the support of senior faculty and our esteemed panel of advisors, this institution of higher learning shall become a prestigious part of the educational hub that Himachal's Hon'ble Chief Minister, Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal, has envisaged. Shoolini University's distinctiveness will emanate from committed governance and support from the foundation, strong alliances and linkages with industry and academia, high caliber faculty, best and brightest students and state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Shoolini University has adopted high
standards of education, which have
received recognition and appreciation
from various bodies. It is now recognised
by the University Grants Commission
(UGC), approved by Pharmacy Council of
India (PCI), and rated 4th amongst top
ten Private Biotech Institutes in the
country in a recent survey conducted by
BioSpectrum, a prestigious and
exclusive national magazine on
biotechnology.
